Two scholarships of one thousand pounds will be offered each year in the form of a fee reduction for the Distance Learning MLitt. All candidates who are eligible to apply for the MLitt may also apply for a scholarship.
Such candidates should submit an application form for the MLitt degree in the normal way and, in addition, should send a curriculum vitae and a one page personal statement explaining why they feel they deserve to be awarded a scholarship.
Scholarship applications should be received by the Department of English Studies no later than the last Friday in September for entry to the course in the following January.
The fee for the Distance Learning MLitt (The Winter School, Modules A - F, The Summer School and the Dissertation) is equivalent to two thousand three hundred pounds per annum.
The fee for the Residential Version of the MLitt (Modules A - F and the Dissertation) is:
Overseas students - six thousand, eight hundred pounds.
Home and EC students - two thousand, seven hundred and forty pounds.
Proportionate fees apply for the Advanced Certificate and the Diploma.
The fees includes all course materials, and phased payments may be possible.
