The Department of Architecture is committed to being internationally engaged across all its core activities. No distinction is made regarding internationalism as being separate from other activities of the Department – it is integral to, and informs, the nature of the Department’s Teaching, Research and Knowledge Transfer.
There is a considerable international legacy within the Department, originating from the long standing international exchange collaborations that have existed for more than a quarter of a century. The Department recognises and embraces the ‘added value’ that pro-active international development brings; to both the student and staff experience, to the profile of the Department and to making a contribution to the dialogue on common and comparative issues that concern the built environment across international boundaries.
