Archives and Special Collections are pleased to announce the addition of the Papers of Verity Lambert to our collections.
Verity Ann Lambert (1935-2007) was awarded an honorary degree from the University of Strathclyde in 1988 after a distinguished career in television.
In 2002 Verity was rewarded for her lifelong commitment to film and television production with the Alan Clarke Award for Outstanding Creative Contribution to Television from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and appointed an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the same year.
The archives gifted to the University contain articles, photographs, biographical information and video footage. Two BAFTAs, her OBE and several other awards complete this collection which was donated by her personal assistant and friend, Anna Callaghan.
