New Towns Collection
This collection comprises around 500 items relating to new towns in Britain and internationally. The material dates from the 1920s until the present and includes reports, town plans and planning proposals, and maps. The collection also includes archival material relating to new towns in Scotland, with particular emphasis on Livingston. Donated by I-Document Systems in 2002.
Royal Scottish Geographical Society (Reference) Collection
The collection includes works on polar exploration, mountaineering, travel and topography. It contains some rare and valuable items from the library deposited by the Society following the relocation of their headquarters to the Graham Hills Building in 1993.
