The University of Strathclyde Archives are open to staff and students of the University and to members of the public, free of charge. It is advisable to contact us in advance of your visit, so that material can be looked out from store, and a place reserved for you in the searchroom.

Archives and Special Collection's searchroom The Archives are located in the Andersonian Library of the University.

A lift is available from ground level. Please advise us if you have any special requirements.

When visiting the Archives for the first time, please bring photographic proof of identity such as a passport or driving licence, and proof of current address such as a bank statement or utility bill.

The searchroom is a bright and comfortable environment, with laptop places and tables for group or individual research. Digital cameras may be used with out flash.

Descriptions of our collections may be viewed on our website. Some collections are fully catalogued online, and printed catalogues of the other collections may be consulted in the searchroom.
