PG Certificate/Diploma in Advanced Academic Studies

The key target group for the programme comprises new and relatively inexperienced staff.  The programme is open to all academic or related staff within the University of Strathclyde and also to staff from other institutions involved in higher education.  Applicants must normally hold an initial qualification at degree level from a University or other higher education institution and/or experience which is deemed by the Course Director to be equivalent. Applicants who hold other qualifications deemed acceptable within the context of higher education will also be considered. Course participants will normally be members of academic or related staff of institutions wholly or significantly concerned with higher education.
 
The Advanced Academic Studies programme is offered at Certificate and Diploma level.   The Certificate is valued at 60 PG credits and the Diploma at 120 PG credits on the University of Strathclyde Awards Framework, which is compatible with the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
