Our Information Team are likely to be the first point of contact for visitors to the Careers Service. They are responsible for organising the wide range of careers information held within our resource centre and online and assist users to make effective use of these resources. They also deal with careers information enquiries, provide information about Careers Service facilities/events and book appointments to see careers advisers.

The Employer Engagement Team (EET) has prime responsibility for liaising with employers who want to recruit from Strathclyde. Whether it's to advertise vacancies, make a recruitment presentation, arrange to interview on campus or make contact with individual academic departments, the EET are there to help employers - and university colleagues who want to develop links with employers. The team is also responsible for organising the Scottish Graduate Fair, the largest graduate recruitment event in Scotland, open to students and graduates from all universities. Our Employer Engagement Adviser markets the Careers Service and the University to the employer community and maximises the benefits from our relationships with employers.

The Work Experience Team deal with part-time jobs, vacation work, internships, sandwich placements and voluntary work. Our online vacancy service is ideal for university departments to advertise if you want to recruit students to work in your department. The Work Experience Team also provides very useful guidance for students about the value of work experience for future graduate employment.
