Industrial Advisory Board

The Department of Civil Engineering has an active local Industrial Advisory Board which aims to provide access and cooperation with the Profession in the West of Scotland, Scotland and beyond. The IAB meets on a triennial basis to discuss how the Department can best engage with Industry and to insure that students and the Academic staff have continued access to up-to-date practice.

Visiting Professors

The Department of Civil Engineering has strong links to Industry and the Professions as exemplified in our Visiting Professors and our Industrial Advisor Board. Our Visiting Professors are active in the education and research in the Department and this engagement underpins the mission of the Department.
