UG Open Day
The Department recently hosted a departmental open day, at which over 50 UCAS applicants were in attendance.
Attendees learned more about the Department and what would be involved in studying on our courses. Our UG Director of studies also gave a presentation on the department’s move to new facilities in the James Weir building later this year where students will benefit from state-of-the-art laboratories and study facilities.
The afternoon also included a carousel of stands showcasing undergraduate design work carried out in the department and attendees had the opportunity to meet with current students to gain a better idea of what it’s like to study here in the department.
The afternoon was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who came along.
We will be hosting more departmental open days later in the year - dates will be published here in due course.
