Internet Officer - Role / Responsibilities
- Ensure that all pages hosted on http://www.strath.ac.uk are in line with the University's Web Rules
- Develop/implement a strategy to ensure that the site contains up-to-date information
- Liaise with ITS on matters affecting the technical support of the web
- Liaise with staff and students across the University on all web issues - offering advice and/or assistance where required.
- Champion web best practice within the institution and in the Education sector as a whole.
- Develop a long term strategy which will maximise the web as a promotional tool for all the University's activities
- Keep abreast of developments on other relevant sites
Biographical Information
Previously
Duncan joined the University in late 2002 from Prudential having previously worked for BAESYSTEMS in Lancashire.
Outwith work
In his spare time he takes part in the University's Muay Thai club.
