Current responsibilities
Margaret acts as PA to the Head of Department, ensuring the smooth running of the entire office. She also provides support for the Events Officer, helping to organise events and dinners, with particular responsibility for Congregations.
Previously
Margaret worked as a PA within the Scottish Daily Express, the National Health Service, the Weir Group and Kilmarnock College before joining the University in 2000 as PA to the then Principal.
Outwith work
The daughter of an Ayrshire farmer, Margaret is interested in the works of Robert Burns and lists speaking at Burns Suppers as one of her favourite pastimes. She also composes humorous Scots verse.
