All of the courses are designed to provide an extension to counselling training and aim to encourage practitioners to engage in an ongoing process of professional development.
The programme offers an opportunity to focus on specific practice issues, to learn new skills, to increase self-awareness and to deepen the understanding of person-centred theory and practice.
Our expansion offers a series of more extended courses and specialised training through the University of Strathclyde’s Professional Development Unit.
Advanced Professional Training is offered in association with the Counselling Unit, Jordanhill Campus, Strathclyde University.
In association with Advanced Professional Training
The Counselling Unit is offering two new training programmes. The Psychological Therapies Knowledge Exchange Programme is designed to meet the ongoing training needs of psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists and other professionals in mental health. Developing Supervision Practice is a professional training in the individual and group supervision of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
