The Department has a mix of staff with a range of responsibilities.
The administrator is responsible for a team of administrative and support staff which currently stands at 16 including one modern apprentice, a graduate trainee and the support staff in the Centres.
The Academic Staff is made up of two professors and four readers; 12 senior lecturers, 16 full-time permanent lectures, 12 associate lecturers and about 20 teaching associates. Associate lecturers and teaching associates are field professionals who work with the Department on a seconded, fixed term or part-time basis.
