Overview
Students with interests in sports, design, manufacture and engineering management seek placements from our varied courses.
- About 50 students seek placements each summer.
- Students from all years seek placements, more senior students will often secure placements months in advance
- Salaries are between the company and the student with £1000 / month being typical.
- Salary agreed between student and company.
- SMEs should be aware of significant financial support for student placements that can be gained through the STEP Programme.
- The STEP programme was originally for summer placements only but now covers year out and other patterns to match degree courses.
