DMEM students regularly engage in a number of different types of placements. This page gives details of paid Industrial placements which usually run during the academic summer period.
Industrial placements are open to all DMEM students
completing their 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year of studies. Students interested in

Placements provide a unique opportunity for our
students to develop both personally and professionally. However, as an
employer, whether you are a blue chip company or an SME, you could also benefit
from participating in our Industrial Placement Programme.

The aim of the placements team at DMEM is to promote industrial placements both in industry and to our student community. This is achieved by:

continuously developing new partnerships with industry;

distributing all of the opportunities generated in DMEM through our
internal network;
- organising industrial presentations aimed at raising awareness of
industry;
- delivering/organising career presentations to help prepare students to
seek for relevant employment on completion of their studies.
