Professor Corney's research interests cover a broad range of topics in mechanical
CAD/CAM (ie. 3D feature recognition, 3D content based retrieval,
subdivision for layer manufacture and automated digital painting).
In recent years he has become interest in how Internet technologies
(such as Crowdsourcing) can be used to solve manufacturing problems and
also have ongoing interest in the design and manufacture of
heterogeneous cellular solids for bio-medical and engineering
applications.
