Postgraduate Research Degrees

Available studentships are advertised in the vacancies section, and detail their application procedure.  If you are independently funded, then you may apply to the University to study in DMEM, further details about the application process, and the necessary forms can be found here.


New Engineering Doctorate programme

EngD in Advanced Manufacture: Forging and Forming

Joint collaboration between DMEM and the AFRC and part of the new Advanced Manufacture Industrial Doctorate Centre (AMIDC). 


Our Facilities

DMEM laboratories are equipped with leading-edge technology and equipment.  We have one of the UK's only digital design suites to combine virtual and physical design and prototyping.  These high-quality laboratory facilities and equipment are in great demand from other courses and industry.

DMEM will be hosting a series of webinars for each of its postgraduate courses.
