Biographical Information

Before joining the Department of Economics and Fraser of Allander Institute in October 2008, Soo Jung has conducted research using the REIM(Regional Econometric Input-Output Model) and the AMOS Chicago CGE model in REAL(Regional Economics Application Laboratory) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow with Dr Karen Turner on the following projects:

"Investigating the pollution content of trade flows and the importance of 'environmental trade balances' in addressing the problem of climate change", ESRC Climate Change Leadership Fellowship (Grant reference RES-066-27-0029, http://www.esrcsocietytoday.ac.uk/esrcinfocentre/viewawardpage.aspx?awardnumber=RES-066-27-0029).
"An empirical general equilibrium analysis of the factors that govern the extent of energy rebound effects in the UK economy", ESRC First Grants Initiative project (ESRC ref. RES-061-25-0010, http://www.esrcsocietytoday.ac.uk/esrcinfocentre/viewawardpage.aspx?awardnumber=RES-061-25-0010).
