The Centre for Intelligent Dynamic Communications (CIDCOM) is a major research grouping within the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. With 10 academic staff and over 40 researchers CIDCOM brings together internationally respected groups in both Communications Technology and Digital Signal Processing. This grouping provides a unique combination of expertise in areas of critical importance to the growth and success of this multi-disciplinary technology.
The research portfolio is underpinned by industrial and research council funding in three core areas of expertise: Broadband Networks, Mobile Communications and DSP Enabled Communications.
External recognition of CIDCOM capability is demonstrated in an endowed chair supported by Xilinx and core partners of the Mobile VCE.
