CUE’s annual seminar and BBQ took place at Ross Priory in June this year, for once in glorious sunshine. As usual, a wide variety of interesting talks were presented on such subjects as signal processing for ultrasonic arrays, ultrasonic processing of polymeric foams, astronomy technology and two talks which focused on academic / industrial collaborations which heavily involve CUE (UK Research Centre in NDE - RCNDE) and the Department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management (The Advanced Forming Research Centre – AFRC).
