The Department is delighted to announce its participation in the new prestigious Scholarship Programme launched by the FUNDACIÓN IBERDROLA
This Scholarship initiative is part of the Fundación’s 2010-2014 Master Plan which, not only endeavours to improve the quality of life in the countries where the company operates, but also strives for professional excellence.
The scholarships focus on training and research in the fields of energy and the environment, two of the most sought-after professions. The Fundación will award up to 40 scholarships to students wishing to obtain a masters degree in the following issues: renewable energies, sustainable energy systems, environment and biodiversity, clean coal technologies, emissions management and carbon capture, energy efficiency, energy storage, electric vehicles and smart grids.
The University of Strathclyde is one of only 4 universities selected to partner the Fundacion on this programme in the UK.
BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAMME
Payment of tuition fees and a generous monthly allowance for the duration of study.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
• Open to UK, Spanish and US students only.
Selection is by application and interview.
