The ELT offers a wide range of classes in General English, English for Academic Purposes and Study Skills and provides support and advice to all non-native speaker students at the University of Strathclyde.
Our courses are also open to external participants wishing to study in a serious, international environment to improve their communication skills for academic, professional or leisure purposes. We deliver an extensive range of teaching and training services in the areas of English for Specific and Vocational Purposes for international students.
The ELT is also a fully established centre for EFL teacher training with a range of practical teacher training courses.
