The annual Images of Research competition, which highlights innovative work at the University of Strathclyde through compelling images had an overwhelming response this year.
Research staff and students submitted images which illustrate their research, the experiences which inspired them and the impact they are having on today’s world. The theme of this year’s competition, Global Relevance were judged in four categories: environment; health; society, and technology.
The judges chose 48 entries for the exhibition displayed during Engage with Strathclyde 2013, a week-long programme celebrating and promoting the University’s partnership with businesses, public and third sector organisations. The display was showcased in the information hub and welcomed hundreds of visitors. The exhibition is now embarking on a roadshow at venues across the West of Scotland, and form an online gallery.
