Student awards from external bodies

Every year there are excellence awards (including medals) made to exemplary students by a variety of external organisations; Glasgow City Council, the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, Architecture+Design Scotland and the Glasgow Institute of Architects. Students are encouraged to enter national and international competitions with the support of the department. We are very proud of their success and our recognition over the years, by the Royal Town Planning Institute, Urban Design Group and the Association of Project Safety. Individuals and student teams have seen 'small works' designs shortlisted and constructed, often in competitive schemes open to practising architects.

Award winners have been listed in this leaflet: Prizes and Recognition leaflet to 2016

Images of the winning projects and entry panels feature in our Gallery

Staff and students should submit the Prize press release pro forma to forward new awards to Kathryn Young
