Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management Study with us

Our practical and innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are designed to develop tomorrow’s industry and business leaders.

Our teaching staff bring together experts in the fields of design, product development and manufacturing, and engineering management. Undergraduate

A range of study options are available for undergraduate students, including four-year BSc and BEng degrees and five-year MEng degrees. Course options cover the topics, product design & innovation, product design engineering, product design engineering & management, and sports engineering.

Postgraduate taught

We have a varied programme for students looking to study at postgraduate level. You'll have the option to study exciting areas such as mechatronics & automation and operations management in engineering. Areas including product design engineering are also studied in greater depth than at undergraduate level.

Our postgraduate course in Mechatronics & Automation is the only course in the world that is sponsored by both the UK and Chinese Space Agencies.

Postgraduate research

We offer many opportunities for postgraduate research, including MPhil, PhD, Industrial Doctorate and Engineering Doctorate (EngD) postgraduate degrees.
