Research Excellence
The Faculty's 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) was the largest return and highest "research power" rating in Scotland for engineering. All of the Departments that were eligible submitted, and were judged to be nationally or internationally leading. Therefore students can be confident of studying alongside top researchers in their chosen field with access to the most up-to-date knowledge and technological developments.
