The Science, Engineering and Art of Golf: from tee to green. Dr Steve Otto, Director – Research & Testing, The R&A, St Andrews

The seemingly simple process of hitting a golf ball has proved challenging in the centuries since golf was first played in Scotland. This talk will include a description of the physics of impact and clear up some commonly misunderstood aspects of the game.
