Council

Council members are elected at the AGM held in November each year.  All Strathclyde graduates are invited to attend the AGM. Council members serve a three year term and there are about 20 in total.  The intention is that Council members should cover a wide age group and as many Faculties as possible. The Council is interested in attracting new members, particularly if their age group or Faculty is not well represented.

Two members of Council are appointees.

• Principal’s Nominee: Shona Cameron
• Secretary’s Nominee: Lucy Alder

The President is appointed at the AGM for a two year term with the option of serving a third year. The positions of Secretary and Treasurer are appointed by the Council annually, at the Council meeting following the AGM.
