Most people spend a great deal of their lives working in organisations and being managed. What happens to them has important effects on their experience of work and their sense of identity and well being. HRM deals with the complex issues involved in this employment relationship.

Choosing HRM as one of your principal subjects will result in study of the following classes.
2nd Year:
- 41203 HRM2 (core class)
- 41255 HR Development
- 41256 People Resourcing
3rd Year:
- 41314 HRM3 (core class)
- 41315 Managing Diversity & Equality
- 41319 Managing Organisations
- 41345 Employment Relations
The core classes are worth 3 credits and run over both semesters. All other classes are 1.5 credits and run over only one semester.
..single or joint honours..
Students who fulfill the BA Pass Degree requirements are eligible to apply for entry to the Honours year. You may apply to take Single Honours in HRM or to take HRM as part of a Joint Honours degree. Entry into Honours is NOT automatic, you will be expected to have achieved a certain level of marks in both core classes and electives.
