PgCert Supporting Bilingual Learners
The course was well-structured and relevant to classroom practice. I liked how the four modules followed on logically from each other through theory, practice, policy and research. The different methods of assessment, namely written assignments, development of resources, seminar presentation and action research ensured the course was purposeful, challenging and stimulating. The collaborative approach to tutorials made for lively discussions and collegiate networking which has been very rewarding.
The course has enhanced my own practice in the classroom and I am now leading learning in the school, sharing theoretical knowledge and practical skills with staff which has had a positive impact on all our pupils.
