The HaSS Research and Knowledge Exchange support team (RaKET) provides support for R&KE activities across the new Faculty. This includes assistance with:
- Finding funders for R&KE projects
- Costing research through pFACT
- Completing submissions to funders
- Costing and processing consultancies
- Costing conferences, seminar series, CPD short course and other KE activities
- Supporting KE events from pre event planning through delivery of the event to post event follow up
- Accurate recording of all R&KE activity using PURE and other systems; this includes/will include publications information, esteem data and impact information
- Accurate reporting of Faculty R&KE activity, including ensuring activity is captured for University R&KE returns to the SFC
- Supporting other R&KE activity e.g. admin support for recruiting research staff, assisting with purchasing appropriate software licenses
- If workload allows, supporting individual projects
- Administration of HASS Ethics Procedures
- Support for the Vice Deans (Research) and (Knowledge Exchange) and Unit of Assessment Leaders
