UK Postgraduate Loans
UK wide postgraduate loans will be available for eligible students in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales wishing to commence postgraduate study for 2017 entry. This government funding will allow students to study a Masters anywhere in the UK, however you will normally need to be ordinarily resident in the country you apply for a loan from.
EU students may be eligible for a £5,500 tuition-fee loan if you have not received support from another EU country. To meet the general residence conditions, you must have been ordinarily resident in the EU, the EU overseas territories, elsewhere in the EEA or Switzerland for the three years immediately before the first day of the first academic year of the course. *The Department for the Economy plans to introduce Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loans for Northern Ireland students from the beginning of Academic Year 2017/18. Whilst the exact details are yet to be finalised, it's likely that non-means-tested tuition fee loans of up to £5,500 will be available to help with course costs, and that students will be able to apply from Summer 2017.
