Informal Weekly Meetings

The International Students Club meets weekly during the academic year and provides an informal forum for students to meet and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.

A programme of social events is planned every three months. Day and weekend tours to other parts of Scotland, international food evenings, trips to the theatre or music concerts are always very popular events as are Ceilidhs (Kay-lees) Scottish Country dance parties.  The latest social programme is shown below.

There is also a weekly international meeting on a Wednesday evening which is a great opportunity to get together with other students and provides a welcome midweek break from studies. Details of the international meeting are posted in the IGO on Wednesday, or you can e-mail international.adviser@strath.ac.uk directly.

As well as appearing on this website, posters detailing events are displayed on all University noticeboards in student residences and of course in the IGO.
