PGDE (Secondary) - Faculty of Education
Previously a student at:
Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada
Why did you choose to study at Strathclyde?
The ability to study at a long-lived and prestigious academic institution was an exceptional opportunity; my research indicated that Strathclyde is one of the best institutes in Western Europe for education.
What do you like about the course?
The breadth and depth of experience of course instructors. Their passion about teaching and education at large is both highly evident, and infectious.
What are you doing in your free time at Strathclyde?
Nothing at the University; playing tourist around the rest of the country!
What do you think of Glasgow and Scotland?
A friendly city, full of a rich cultural heritage that simply does not exist back in Canada. An exciting city that is very much ‘alive’.
How do you hope your Strathclyde studies will help you in your future job / future studies?
It is my hope that a degree from a prestigious foreign university will not only be attractive to employers, but will give me a greater breadth of understanding of education than I could have obtained at a domestic university.
