The Strategic Plan
Our £350m programme to transform the estate and IT systems is creating an integrated city-centre campus, complemented by strategic distributed academic infrastructure (both national and international) that will be flexible and adaptable in response to changing demands.
Estates and Information Services are working in synergy to align their strategies to optimise investment in IT and infrastructure and enable a digital campus. By adopting this holistic approach we can ensure that the virtual and physical come together in a leading international technological University.
How we are working together
This short film 'Building a Digital Campus' demonstrates how collaboration between Estates Services and Information Services enables the University of Strathclyde to achieve a key feature from the Strategic Plan: An Attractive, Dynamic & Digital Campus.
'Developing a Digital Campus' is an update from the beginning of 2013. Staff and Students give their thoughts on new facilities available as the University of Strathclyde progresses towards becoming a digital campus, through collaboration between Estates Services and Information Services.
Estates Services have worked in partnership with Information Services to create and upgrade a number of spaces around campus.
