Technical problems?

Can't log into SharePoint?  SharePoint site not doing what you expect?

Here are some options you might want to consider:

  1. Have you added ds\ in front of your user name? - when you login to a SharePoint site while on campus it may automatically take you into the site.  If you are asked to login you should add the prefix ds\ in front of your DS user name.

  2. Do you have a DS account?  -  the DS Account is issued as part of the registration process.  It contains your computer account and password and is usually presented in a password protected slip.  If you have registered and have not received your DS account please get in touch with Registry or the IT Helpdesk.
  3. Do you have two DS logins? - if so, try logging in with the other DS account.  If you wish to resolve this issue in the longer term you need to get in touch with the IT Helpdesk and ask them to change your Active Directory primary account to the one that you use most regularly.
  4. If you still can't get access to the site please contact the IT HelpDesk.
