Learning Services was established in 2001 to provide a range of services to support the delivery and administration of teaching, learning and research throughout the University of Strathclyde.
Our mission statement:
"Learning Services provides comprehensive specialist, creative and technical services to underpin University-wide activities aligned to institutional strategic aims. We do this by working in partnership with academic and support departments, responding to user needs and inspiring innovation, whilst leading on new service enhancements."
Our aims:
- To provide expertise in innovation, learning space design and audio-visual technologies to support all University activities (KIP - IT Services, Estates, Residence & Catering, Faculties)
- To support the innovative, appropriate and legal use of technology by staff and students in support of all University activities (KIP - IT Services, Disability Service, Library Services, GMAP, Human Resources, CAPLE, Faculties, Research & Innovation)
- To develop and deliver media resources to support all University activities (KIP - Communications Office, Schools & Colleges Liaison, International Office, Purchasing, Faculties, CAPLE, Research & Innovation, Print Unit)
