Teaching Room Services provide installation, technical support and maintenance for all AV/IT equipment and data projectors in centrally managed teaching rooms.
Alongside AV support we offer a number of other services -
Room AV Design and Installation
Design services are provided for the planning, specification, installation and programming of AV/IT equipment in teaching rooms.
Loan Service
A loan service is available for many types of AV equipment eg: laptop computers, DVD players, video cameras, audio recorders and projectors for use in teaching and presentations.
Data Projection Loan
Have you been allocated a room without data projection facilities and want to use a laptop or PowerPoint? Do you need to use a projector on or off campus? Learning Services has lightweight data projectors available for loan.
DV Camcorder Loan
Learning Services has modern lightweight digital camcorders available for loan to staff or students for University work. These cameras use mini DV tapes and DVD. Recordings can be easily downloaded to most computers.
In addition Learning Services has a dedicated PC workstation which can be used to prepare video for use in PowerPoint presentations or as web resources.
