I liked the programme. I've gained a lot of new knowledge, and it has even changed my outlook. I particularly liked the finance course and I intend to specialise in this field. Generally, though, all the subjects have proved both important and useful.
An integral part of the BITS course involves group work, and being able to interact and relate to people from so many different walks of life has been a truly amazing experience. The real friendships and bonds you form with classmates was what I enjoyed most about the course.
The curriculum contained the right blend of business and IT classes and the lecturers and tutors delivered the course drawing on both academic and 'real world' experience.
As a result of my MBM study, my business knowledge increased tremendously in a very short time and I have been able to transfer this knowledge directly into practice in my new job.
The BITS course itself is unique in that it has equipped me with a distinctive mix of business and IT skills, something that is well sought after in today's increasingly competitive graduate job market. Throughout the course I felt challenged and enjoyed climbing the steep learning curve.
I chose the Strathclyde MBA for the additional reasons that it is a Financial Times top 30 MBA and it has a flexible programme on the right days of the week for me. I looked at other business schools - but only as part of an overall process of whittling the choices down to the most appropriate outlet.
Strathclyde Business School has an excellent reputation. I was particularly impressed with the triple accreditation and the top ratings from the Financial Times, Guardian and Economist. The school fee was also attractive as well as the international mix of the students.
The MBM programme at Strathclyde has been recognised as one of the best Masters courses in Europe and the option of converting the MBM into the world-class Strathclyde MBA at a future date convinced me to apply for this course.
