Dominic has recently joined the Department of Management Science to fill the newly created Knowledge Exchange role.  Having previously completed his BA Business at Strathclyde, he also has an MSc Business Information Technology Systems (with distinction) from the Graduate School of Business. His Masters dissertation focussed on knowledge management in the sales/service sector.

In addition to working for the Department of Management Science, Dominic is also a PhD researcher with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship (Strathclyde University). His research examines social entrepreneurship and social innovation with a wider interest in community entrepreneurship. In conjunction with this research, Dominic is linked to the ESRC funded Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy, represented at Strathclyde University by Dr. Eleanor Shaw.

Dominic teaches on the Management Development Programme within the Business School and tutors at the Hunter Centre. In addition to these teaching duties, he recently co-ordinated and taught on the summer school programme which bridges the gap for students between high school and university.

Before coming back to concentrate on his studies, Dominic spent time living and travelling in Canada and the USA. During this time he enjoyed working for a start-up company in both Toronto and Vancouver.

He joins the Management Science Department at an exciting time for knowledge exchange as the university seeks to develop its interaction with industry, government and knowledge users.
