Emeritus Professor. Former Deputy and Vice Principal of the University of Strathclyde.
Susan's interests in international supply chain management, collaborative agreements and marketing, with particular reference to the international food industry. She is a former member of the Council of Food From Britain, the UK body with responsibility for the international marketing of British food, of the Food Directorate of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, the Food Advisory Committee and non executive director of a number of companies with international interests. Susan has worked in Europe, United States, Japan, South East Asia and South America for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, the European Commission, government ministries and other public sector agencies as well as many private sector companies. She is the author of books and research articles on business strategy, marketing, retail and food industry management.
Susan was previously a Professor at the University of Stirling and is currently a Professor at the University of Glasgow.
Suasan was awarded D.Univ by the University of Glasgow in June 2004.
