Education & Previous Experience
Graduated in 2006 with an MA Hons degree in English Literature from Glasgow University. More recently graduated in 2009 from University of Strathclyde with MSc in Marketing graduating with distinction. Worked for four years with website company 5pm.co.uk and other experience including working for The Marketing Society and CCA (Centre for Contemporary Arts).
Now located in the Department of Marketing as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and as a PhD Student.
PhD Subject
Dissatisfied with contemporary society, communities have formed around the shared pursuit of the nostalgic ideals of the past. My PhD research will be focusing on the exploration of the construction of community through this consumer resistance in the Glasgow craft and vintage community.
