Two Chancellor’s Fellowships are now available in the Department in ‘Health and Food Security: numerical-driven solutions’ and ‘Applied Analysis: complex networks in nature, society and technology’. Application details are available at:
Fellowships will be for a period of 5 years, normally at Lecturer level, with an expectation that the criteria for promotion to Senior Lecturer or above will be attained during this 5 year period. The closing date for applications is 8 September 2013.
‘Health and Food Security: numerical-driven solutions’
Applications will be welcome from candidates in the areas of mathematics and statistics applied to the life sciences, including mathematical biology, mathematics in medicine, marine sciences, etc.
‘Applied Analysis: complex networks in nature, society and technology’
Applications welcome from candidates in the area of applied analysis with an emphasis on complex networks which may include any or all of the branches of applied probability, stochastic analysis, numerical analysis, dynamical systems, complex network modelling, etc.
