Catalina is a racer/cruising yacht which is available for all students of the department to use, under the supervision of our experienced skippers. Catalina replaced the former yacht of the department Renegade.

Students of the department have the opportunity to gain their RYA Day Skipper qualification through a theoretical course offered by the Department, which contributes to their degree, together with a practical course on the yacht.

Please contact Thelma if you wish to use the yacht. You can find out when the yacht is available by checking the calendar. There is a minimum charge of £30 for a day's sailing.
