Postgraduate Research Travel Award
This award is the main University of Strathclyde fund for PGR travel to cover Conference attendance and is open all year. The maximum it can pay any one student in any one year is £150.
This is a joint University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow award which provides funding for postgraduate research students (PhD or Masters by Research) to undertake a course of study lasting between two months and one year at a centre of advanced study preferably, although not necessarily, outwith Scotland. It does not cover Conference attendance. This closing date is Friday 10th May 2013
In memory of Finn Randall – an alumnus of the University of Srathclyde and an intrepid traveler – this award was established to assist a registered student of the University with the cost of a particular scheme of travel which is considered to be the most enterprising and the most relevant to his or her course of study. It does not cover Conference attendance. The closing date for 2013 applications has passed.
