The MPhys, BSc Physics and BSc Physics with Teaching degrees all follow the same curriculum in the first two years and so it is possible to transfer between these degrees (transfer is based on performance through the year) at any point up until the end of second year. Beyond second year the MPhys and BSc Physics degrees share the same curriculum until the end of fourth year.
Students on the BSc Physics with Teaching degree take the classes from the Post Graduate Diploma in Education offered by the School of Education in their third and fourth years.
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics administers the BSc Mathematics & Physics degree.
All our physics degrees are accredited by the Institute of Physics and in the first three years of the courses you study the necessary physics material that forms the core of physics as defined by the Institute of Physics.
