The course registration form is at the back of the Short Course Brochure, however,  once you have read our brochure and chosen your courses a separate form is available which can be filled in on-line, then printed and posted along with other relevant documentation Short Course Registration Form 2009/10

We are pleased to showcase our continuing professional development portfolio of short courses. They are intended for all professionally qualified staff who are involved in the care of patients requiring some form of orthotic, prosthetic or rehabilitation technology management. 

Varying in duration from 1 to 5 days, these courses contain essential, classroom taught, academic subjects in addition to a strong clinical element using demonstration patients.  Many are multidisciplinary and some are designed for selected professions only. Please read the individual course descriptions carefully before submitting your Short Course Registration Form 2009/10    in order to ensure that the course of interest to you is appropriate to your professional background.

Important Short Course Notes

Please note: All registrants are required to fulfil the University of Strathclyde regulation that course fees are paid in advance of the course. 

Cheques should be made payable to "The University of Strathclyde" and sent along with your completed registration form (which can be found at the back of the Short Course Brochure) or a separate Short Course Registration Form 2009/10  can be filled in on-line, printed and then posted along with cheque and any other documentation. 

Overseas registrants must supply a letter from their head of department/organisation which verifies their position and place of employment. We regret that incomplete registration forms or registration forms not accompanied by a cheque, cannot be accepted. Please contact the Short Course Administrator if you require further information. Additional contact details are supplied below. 

Important Notice: In the event of a cancellation less than two weeks before the start of a course, a cancellation fee of £50 will be charged. This fee will not apply when cancellation is due to illness or bereavement.

Short Course News

The short course 'The role of ankle foot orthoses in the management of stroke' (NC238) has been postponed. Details of the new date will be issued when available. Apologies for any inconvenience.
