Next to the story title you will see the appropriate Bible references for each story. The links from these references are to another database (at the Alderman Library, University of Virginia) which will download a complete chapter of the Bible. You do not need to read the complete chapter for the story, only the verses indicated. You will also have to download each chapter in turn. Use the Back arrow to return to the story list.
University of Strathclyde students might find it helpful to read these pages in conjunction with their course handbook. Students might also wish to note that printed copies of these stories are available in the Education Faculty's Library on 3-hour loan, ask for 'Stories from the Christian New Testament'.
