Q. Does Ross Priory have a minimum number of guests?
A. We have a minimum of 30 adults for peak dates, but we will consider something smaller off peak, although this will affect what we include in the packages.
Q. What is the maximum capacity of Ross Priory?
A. For a meal the maximum capacity is 62 in the Dining Room or 92 split between the Dining Room and the adjoining McGougan Room. For the evening reception, including all other guests, the maximum capacity for the building is a total of 120.
Q. Can I mix and match the wedding menus in the packages?
A. We do allow a degree of flexibility within our packages, so if there is a dish you prefer from one of our other packages, we will be happy to revise the menu and re-cost this for you and can offer advice using our knowledge and experience.
Q. Can I have just my ceremony at Ross Priory if I want to hold my reception elsewhere?
A. We pride ourselves in offering facilities for the full day and to only one wedding at a time, so a ceremony only would prevent us from taking another booking, therefore, we do not offer the facility for a ceremony only. Please look over our packages to see what we can offer.
Q. Can I have a marquee for my reception?
A. This is not something that we offer and is outside our licence provision.
Q. Can I provide my own caterers?
A. We have a complete staff ranging from front of house through to the kitchen, so we do not allow outside caterers. Please see our wedding packages for a full range of the menus and services we can offer.
