Our work with business & organisations

Initiatives undertaken by Scottish historians at Strathclyde range from raising awareness about life in the Western Highlands and Isles of Scotland to establishing partnerships with the Fulbright Commission and Smithsonian Institution. Some highlights include:

  • co-hosting of Fulbright Commission Summer School
  • Enlightenment and Education: 300 Years of Innovation in Scotland and America (Smithsonian Institution and Fulbright Commission)
  • partnership with the Buffalo Bill Cody Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming
  • future collaboration with the Hunterian Museum on life in the Western Highlands and Isles of Scotland
