Research & Innovation manages research development and knowledge exchange activity at the University of Strathclyde.

Business and Organisations

For business and organisations, the range of services includes:

• A range of technologies for commercialisation
• Co-ordination of all types of research, including contract and collaborative research
• Consultancy
• CPD and training
• Access to a diverse range of spin-out companies and joint ventures
• Access to a wider range of services to business from the University of Strathclyde, including student placements

Assistance for University Staff

• Research Business Development Aim to support the strategic research development goals of faculties, departments and academic staff
• Business Development Provide assistance with the protection and development of research results through intellectual property rights, technology transfer and commercialisation
• International Business Development Assist with the application and management of European and International Funding for research, education and training
• Grants and Contracts Provide support with the costing and pricing of research applications, plus negotiate and manage grants and contracts
